Bangerter Family

Three of the cutest boys I have ever met. Such a fun family. We took their pictures at the Jefferson Memorial.
On another note ... it is spring! Time for Cherry Blossoms in DC, the peak blossom time is this weekend, and you can bet I will be there. I love this time of year. I will for sure post pictures, so check back!

Katie & Brandon - Wedding at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna

My first outdoor wedding of the season.  And they got lucky the forecast was for rain and it ended up being absolutely beautiful!  It started sprinkling just as we were finishing up with portraits ... perfect timing.

By Request

These two images were created by request, and I think they turned out quite nice, actually. They were created with my new beautiful umbrella. I love it. The first day of spring was this week, so I think it is particularly fitting to post some flower pictures!

Wiser

Well, it has been a while since I have posted. I have good intentions, but life has been busy. I had three shoots this past weekend, so keep coming back to see the updates. I also had a birthday this week. I have a couple of other pictures to post for that too ... just as soon as I get around to it!

This AM

Today the plan was to go to St. Michaels, which is a little sailing town on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. However, after listening to the weather reports, we cancelled the trip.

It rained all night and then it let up a little this morning with a foggy mist in the air. This tree is in our neighborhood and I have been wanting to photograph it for a while. About an hour after I got back home it started to pour ... and now ... blue skies. Crazy weather.
