One Year Ago

How fast does a year fly by. Very fast.
A year ago I was on an all expense paid trip to London.
This is a favorite shot from that trip that I never posted previously.
Seems so many good things have happened in that time.
I can only expect the best for this year.
It is starting out pretty good so far...

Alvin Ailey II

A couple of pictures from after the show.
It was amazing, as expected.
Talent - those dancers are in amazing shape.

Alvin Ailey

I have been sick (very sick) all week long and today is the first day I have had any energy at all. And just in time as I have tickets to see Alvin Ailey tonight. (Photography by Andrew Eccles.)
It is going to be amazing.

Freezing Rain

I have heard the phrase freezing rain ever since I moved to the East, but this is the first time I have actually experienced it.  Amazing.  (Terrible for traffic, more than double my commute time.)  However, when I woke up this morning I went downstairs to get a banana from the kitchen and I looked out our huge window and was stunned.  I had to go out there.  I grabbed my camera, my hair was only half-way blow-dried.  I was also a little late to work.  Oh well, it was totally worth it.  Here are a few of the pictures I got, the ice really does cover everything individually.

Great Falls NP

It was so nice yesterday; warmer than it has been in months. I decided to take advantage of it, so I convinced a friend to come with me to Great Falls National Park. I was hoping for a few clouds at sunset, but unfortunately it cleared off. It was still a beautiful sunset. I left the images large so you can really appreciate how beautiful it was (click on the image for a larger view).
