It's Me...

It's me - with my camera!
Cool, huh?
My brother carved this for me for Christmas.
I had to show it off - it is pretty amazing.
That isn't all either - he made me this stool - complete with my logo.
My family is pretty amazing.

On my way out

This was my farewell view of Wyoming just before I drove over the mountain pass on my way back to Utah for my flight. I managed to hit the peak of sunset just as I was leaving the Valley.
I know the second one isn't that great of a shot - but it shows the nice colors. Not a bad farewell!

The Most Beautiful Place - Sunset

This is the sunset ... it started by tipping the mountains a light pink and then moving to the clouds above them with the most radiant pink you can imagine. It was beautiful.

The Most Beautiful Place ...

(sigh) Home. The Most Beautiful Place.
It snowed for the first six days I was home - I couldn't even glimpse the mountains.
Just when I feared I wouldn't get to see the mountains at all before I had to leave, the sun broke through and gave me a glimpse of the beauty. Not only that, but the sunset was absolutely gorgeous! You will have to wait for a later post of the sunset pictures ... these were taken just before sunset.

SLC in December

Salt Lake City is absolutely gorgeous in December.
I love flying in and seeing the mountains covered in snow.
There is nothing like it.
These are a few pictures from Temple Square.

Three Degrees

It was the coldest it has been in 15 years in DC last night (according to the news) yesterday at 3:00 it felt like 3 degrees!
Personally if it is going to be that cold it should at least look like this (click for bigger image):

New York City Part II

Sorry, they are a little out of order - but you get the idea.

We saw quite a bit of New York and had an amazing time.
