Costa Rica III

My friend took the image above - nice pretty beach, isn't it?

In the picture immediately below there is a sloth. Can you see it?

If you can't, neither could I. The don't move and they blend in.

I felt like I was starring into the jungle forever before I finally saw it ...

and that wasn't until I saw it on the back of a camera first!

Two pictures below are the monkeys we saw and the close up of the sloth.

Fresh coconut milk on the beach, they cut the coconut right there for you.

This little restaurant is right on the beach and I had the best drink I have ever had in my life.

Maracuya - I could have drank it every meal.

Costa Rica II

This was the view as we were driving along the ocean.

We stopped at one of the beach towns for something to eat.

We picked the right place - rice with hearts of palm and ceviche - so delicious.

This was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen.

The picture doesn't do it justice. The water, the sky, the sand, the trees ... gorgeous.

Spring!

It is my favorite time of year in DC ... cherry blossoms are blooming.

Now I don't know whether to post Costa Rica or cherry blossoms.

Or the two weddings I need to post. Decisions, decisions ...
