I love sunrise, and sunrise at the beach - sigh!  So lovely.

There is something simply magical about the moment the sun peaks over the horizon line.

Memorial Day

I love living in DC, so many opportunities every weekend.

Went to Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day and got to listen to the President speak.

It was hot, but we had a perfect spot in the shade!

Then we enjoyed the walk around the cemetery - I loved all the flags!

Day at the Park

Spent the day at the park catching up with some amazing friends.

I brought along my film camera, but unfortunately didn't get pictures everyone, maybe next time!

Deep Creek Adventure

The shadow of my crazy wind-blown hair in the boat - yikes!

Good times with good people at Deep Creek.

Did a little waterskiing, a little swimming, laying in the sand, riding on the boat, and

of course taking a few pictures.  Living life to the max this year!

Happy Father's Day

This is my handsome Dad - I love this picture of him, on a gorgeous horse, camera in hand.

Collective Soul

I think the fans of Collective Soul are unusually tall.  

Thanks to my friends for keeping the crazy drunk lady from crushing me!

I really love this band.  

I really love watching people do what they absolutely have a passion for.

Everyone should be so lucky to pursue your dreams and do what you love.

Excited kid

This little kid was so incredibly noisy,

and so excited to see us he couldn't contain his excitement.

Maryland Country

This was a little unexpected adventure, but I did finally get to meet my friend's beautiful horse.

We also saw the pretty little white beauty.  

He was so friendly and came all the way across the field to say hello.

Sometimes it is so refreshing to get out the city and see the beauty in the country!
