I hesitated when posting these pictures, simply because they really do not do this place justice.

When we came around the bend and saw this view, it was absolutely breath-taking.  

Stop-you-in-your-tracks kind of pretty.  The water was the bluest blue I have ever seen.

The yellow trees were on fire all around the lake.  There were two moose down on the lake where we came in.  This is a lake caused from a slide - you can see the area where the mountain slid in the first image and in the bottom image you can also see the portion of the mountain that moved.

Christmas Tree 2012

Taking a break from the fall pictures to share our tree cutting adventure ...

We selected our tree, took a picture ... but upon further inspection - the tree had a couple dead limbs ... so the search continues ....

Now THIS is our tree!

On to the tree shaker and the tree wrapper machine...

It smells so good!  Feels like Christmas now for sure!
