Dismal Swamp

This weekend I spent in Southern Virginia ~ Chesapeake area. A couple of friends were running a 1/2 marathon, a feat by any definition. I don't think I have ever been around so many people who are so physically fit. They were everywhere ~ about 1200 of them.

We spent the night camping and I was greeted by an amazing sunrise. (PS-my new tent works great! Thank you!) The buildilng was great, it was along the trail--you don't find places like that too often. And the last picture I had to throw in to show how green everything is getting :)

I like to think of myself as a "casual runner." I run because I enjoy it at my own speed ... which is conveniently slower than race speed.
You are in such great shape ... you don't need to run! (PS-I still think it is going to be a boy)
