HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING.
A heat advisory remains in effect from Noon today to 8pm this evening. Forecast High temperatures today between 95 and 100 degrees in combination with a humid air mass will yield Heat Index Values between 105 and 110 degrees this afternoon. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids ... stay in air-conditioned room ... stay out of sun ... and check up on relatives and neighbors ....And THAT is the forecast for the wedding I have today. It will be at the DC temple around 2pm--hot, hot, hot and humid. I am hoping for a breeze and some partly cloudy skies to ease the heat.
