About a month ago there were millions of these little acorns with top hats everywhere.
I am amazed by them, maybe it is because I never saw anything like it until I moved out East.
After my run one morning, I noticed these acorns. The small attached one was bright green.
I saw it and intended to photograph it, but of course I got busy and put it off.
It sat on my desk for a week or two and when finally got around to it,
the gorgeous green color had changed to a brown!
Slightly disappointing - but I still think they are pretty neat.
