I went sailing earlier this month and we also did some crabbing.
This beauty is a Blue Maryland crab.
The female has a mark that looks like the capitol on her belly,
The male has a mark that looks like the Washington Monument.
How patriotic right?
The female also has the bright red on the claw - so colorful.
I got a little too close so she showed me the pincher wide open.
