Gratitude

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays - a time set aside to give thanks... and eat good food!

And I just wanted to say thank you to all of my clients,

all of my brides and grooms and all my cute families...

and all of you have ever referred me to someone else - THANK YOU!

I love my clients - you are simply amazing, and I couldn't be where I am without you!

On a personal note, I know every one goes through difficult things in their lives.

We usually just keep them quietly to ourselves and deal with it.

But sometimes you really just need someone to talk to.

I have had a rough couple of months and so this Thanksgiving I am feeling overwhelmed with gratitude for all of my friends and family.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to those who have listened and cried with me

and been so supportive of me.

I also couldn't be more grateful for my family. I simply love them.

They love me and support me in everything and I am very grateful for that.

After every storm the sun comes out again ...

and the light is always more perfect than if there had never been a storm.

Adventure

A fun spontaneous adventure with some really amazing friends.

Thanks ladies, it was a perfect evening all around.

DC Horse Show

The horse on the front right - GORGEOUS.

The second most beautiful horse in the show.

I have a thing for beautiful grey horses and I unfortunately did not

get a picture of the most beautiful horse in the show

(The grey beauty was only in the first competition when we first got there).

This was the competition to see how hight the horse could jump.

You can see the wall starts low and gets gradually higher.

The winning horse jumped a seven foot wall.

It was absolutely incredible.

I have it on video, but couldn't download it today - so maybe I will post it some other time.

It was pretty impressive - and it was a beautiful horse that won too!

Fading Quickly

I wanted to post a few more fall pictures since it is fading so fast.

It snowed in October here in DC, my second snow storm in October of this year.

I must say, it was really beautiful with all the fall colors.

Here are the details:

I am looking for a family that has never had their family picture professionally taken, but they have always wanted to. So if you know someone - nominate them, spread the love, tell me why they deserve the free family portrait session.

It is the season for giving thanks and I love the holidays!

The portrait session will happen on the morning of December 3rd at a location in Vienna/Falls Church/Arlington area. So they have to be in this area on that date. The family will receive a low resolution CD of the pictures from the session. Should be perfect timing for those holiday cards.
