Washington, VA

Some of the shots I captured before last Saturday's wedding. These are taken in Washington, VA which is about an hour and a half from where I live, it is closer to the mountains (which is always a welcome sight-I do miss the mountains, a lot). The fog was so dense in some areas you couldn't see anything, and then it started to burn off and revealed amazing scenery. I was loving every second of it, trying to soak it all in. I missed the best part of the rainbow in the last picture, guess I can't be everywhere at once, though I try. And those geese are extremely protective. This is when they were charging me, needless to say I didn't make it down to the water until they were being fed and were distracted.

Simply beautiful! You need to sell your landscape photographs!

As always, beautiful work. What kind of a camera do you shoot with? And your favorite lens? Also what time in the morning do you get up to get all of your amazing shots? Love your stuff.

I 2nd to the person who said you should sell your landscape. It just makes me wonder why I enjoy sleeping more than waking up early to catch these breathless moments!!

Thank you all for your nice comments! I shoot with Canon and my 24-70 is probably my most used lens. I love all my lenses though.
