Ocean Spray Growers

We made a stop in Massachusetts to go to the cranberry harvest festival.  You get to go onto the cranberry farm to watch a real cranberry harvest - this particular farm is a grower for Ocean Spray.
There are two different methods of harvesting - wet and dry.  The first couple of pictures are of the wet harvest.  It is amazing how many cranberries grow on those bushes.  The next couple of pictures are of the dry harvest - we walked right out on the berry bushes - it was so interesting to see.
The different methods of harvesting are for different uses.  The wet harvest berries are used for juices and the dry harvest berries are for fresh fruit, etc.  (the dry harvest berries last a lot longer).  If you want more info you can google or wikipedia it!  Enjoy the pictures!

I came across your blog by accident, but I'm so glad I did! Your photography is so beautiful and so honest! I'll definitely be following your blog from now on to see what else you capture. As an amateur photographer, I really respect and admire your work. :)

This was so amazing, I'm so glad you researched it and that we got to go see it. I just found a cranberry from the adventure in the car yesterday. :)
